I very recently contributed (donated) to free file sync as I really appreciate this program.
However, after using it I notice three separate unrelated instances where a directory name at the destination drive had changed.
To be be more specific: the first two characters of that directory name were changed to "tilde and dollarsign" - e.g. " ~$" In all three cases exactly the same change - tilde and dollarsign
The rest of the directory name was intact (unchanged) as well as the files in that directory.
It happened in a mirror sync from a MacMini 2018 to a Lacie2Bigdock and from a Macmini 2012 to a external SSD disk. In all cases I could easily correct the directory name with the "rename" command
Anybody else seen this kind of behavior and if so, is this a know bug?
