FreeFileSync is doing useless work. Filter by file size. The intention is to mirror. As a result, the existing files are deleted and the same files copied again.
What should I do to avoid this?

Yes, but to a different location than their present location!
FFS is not doing useless work.
It simply proposed to bring the right location in sync with your left location, because presently they are different.
In your right side base folder, Z:\Video bis mpg\OvdP folder there is a second OvdP folder, and this second OvdP folder that contains some files. Additionally, this second OvdP folder contains a folder 16Z_Afrika with some further files. This is different from the content and structure of your left base folder G:\Video bis mpg\OvdP.
And this difference can only have been caused by your own doing.
Either by initially having used a different left-right folder base folder pair (e.g. G:\Video bis mpg\ and Z:\Video bis mpg\OvdP) or by having re-organized your files inside G:\Video bis mpg\OvdP.
And as stated, FFS proposes exactly those actions required to bring your right location in sync with your left location to get a left-to-right Mirror.
By enabling the "Detect moved files" feature, as pointed out by xCSxXenon, after an initial sync with this option enabled, FFS is even able to detect that it may even be able to move some files instead of deleting files in their present location and copying files to the new location.
