Just wondering if FreeFileSync has any smarts that can stop a sync if there are large amounts of files change due to a crypto-locker type malware attack? We are using this program to sync one of our file servers but don't want it to over write all the good files with encrypted ones.

You should look into versioning. FFS does not offer any protection from anything, it is only a sync tool. There are many tools out there already to protect against those type of attacks much sooner than FFS would be able to.

Thanks for the reply. We have other protection in place but just thought this could be another layer. It's a great product!
