notecase files are not synced

Hello,
I use notecase pro as my notekeeping program under linux mint 20. My problem is that the notecase database file notizen-2021.ncdb is not synced.
I tried to sync it with full name, not*, not*.*, *.ncdb but none worked. The source path and the destination paths are set correctly.
All other kind of files (odt, ods, pdf etc) work fine, but *.ncdb never works.
It can't be the file extension in my mind, because the older version *.ncz did not work either.

Has anybody any idea?

Could it be that your notizen-2021.ncdb file is always open (and locked), and therefore can not be copied?

Thanks for the hint. I just copied the file and renamed it. Then I tried to sync the new file, but it did not work either. The notecase program itself is closed and I can't find any lockfiles.

By default, FFS includes all files for syncing. So what do you mean by "I tried to sync it with full name, not*, not*.*, *.ncdb but none worked."? Unless you changed the default inclusion filters, you don't have to do anything for FFS to see the notecase files.
