How do I set the file date format to international norms (dd/mm/yyyy), rather than the US-only style of mm/dd/yyyy?

I am running windows 8.1, and all my locale settings have always been correctly set for UK...

It looks like 11.10 is not picking up my locale and not displaying file dates correctly... :(

Actually, it may be worth offering a "yyyy/mm/dd" setting as well :)

I encounter the exact same issue.
After updating to 11.10, dates and times are in American format (mm/dd/yyyy and times in AM/PM).
Before that it was following my Windows 10 settings (dd/mm/yyyy HH24:MM).
If this was on purpose, how do I change this format ?
If this is a bug, when will it be fixed ?
Thanks in advance !

Where are you seeing this discrepancy? Which FFS version introduces the change in behavior?

(Win7)
Region & Language

My "Format:" (as Windows) calls it
is, English (United States)

With that, I can still change "Date and time formats"
Short date:
MM/dd/yyyy
to
yyyy-MM-dd

Restart FFS, & the changes are reflected.

Now...

If I change "Format:" (as Windows) calls it
to, English (United Kingdom)
Short date: then defaults to dd/MM/yyyy

When I restart FFS, FFS displays dates as M/dd/yyyy (in 11.10).

Change is between 11.9 & 11.10.

(When set to English (United Kingdom), 11.9 displays, dd/MM/yyyy.)

Thanks! I think I know the change that triggered this. Following version should fix this: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ucm8g5kl7f8jzqv/FreeFileSync_11.11_%255BBeta%255D_Windows_Setup%25282%2529.exe
