Greetings,

I'm using the latest version of FreeFileSync, and trying to sync a folder that
contains approximately 120 subdirectories and approximately 12,000 files. I am
using the mirror option, but when I do the compare and sync, only two thirds
of the subdirectories and files are actually synced. The last subdirctory that
is listed in the compare list is empty (if that is significant). I've tried
everything, and it will only recognize roughly two thirds of the files for
some reason. It doesn't give me any kind of error or warning message. It just
doesn't sync all the files.

Any help/suggestions?

Thanks,

Kurt

This seems to be the problem reported here:
[404, Invalid URL: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3452356&group_id=234430&atid=1093080]
Is it fixed with the version posted there?

Yes. That seems to be the exact same problem. I'll download the posted beta
version and let you know if it solves the problem.

Thanks,

Sorry for taking so long to get back. The beta version *did* fix the problem!
Thanks!

Thank you for the feedback! The problem is due to a buggy file system
implementation that comes up when trying to detect moved files. The new
version of FFS implements a workaround for this issue.
