Donation Edition

Hello, I have the donation edition of FreeFileSync V 11.9 but I am unable to get updates. The auto update option is "DISABLED". When I am notified of an update I have to go to the website but am unable to get the donation edition. I must then contact the owner who sends me a link. I have been unable to 'see' the difference between the Donation edition and the Free version. To date I have only used the app periodically to backup some data files. Having said all the above I am not positive I in fact have the Donation version. When I check the ABOUT it immediately asks me for a donation and the Auto-update being disabled suggests perhaps the FREE version (see attachment)? Appreciate any advice. Thanks

Your picture suggests you do not have the Donation Edition installed, but instead the standard edition.
If in FFS you open Help / About, FFS will show you which FFS version you have and if it is the Donation Edition (or not).

I checked that before posting. Unfortunately I am unable to see which version I have when viewing the "About" screen. However when I bring up the About screen it immediately asks for a donation which leads me to think it is the Free version I have? Having said that the version I do have is from a link given to me from the developer when the last update came and I was then unable to auto update.

See below part of the FFS Help / About window, which clearly shows the presently installed FFS version, here a donation version.

Your link to the Donation Edition download should have the form of
https://freefilesync.org/thank-you.php?tx=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
with the 18 X's being a unique combination of digits and characters.

Well I definitely do not have the donation version. I shall have to contact the developer. Thank you for your assistance.
