Hi - I have just started using FFS. I'm comparing my iTunes library to a backup copy of my iTunes Library on an external hard drive. This particular backup was done 4 years ago and my Library has expanded since. So as expected I had alot of folders and files that weren't on the external hard drive when doing the comparison with FFS. However it also came back saying that I had large number of files (approx 50,000) that were on the external hard drive but weren't on my iTunes library. I was expecting a small number of albums but not this amount.
Obviously I can't check all the folders and files but doing some spot checks I know a lot of those 50,000 files are in my iTunes library and Music folder so I'm not sure why FFS is saying they are only on my external hard drive.
I'm using the Compare File Content option. Does anyhow have any ideas? Sorry if I haven't explained it very well.

Those files may have been moved since that first sync? Or since you are doing content compare, if any details/metadata/tags got changed, then that's a difference to be detected. Have you manually confirmed whether any of those files do or don't exist in the library?
