Cannot update to 11.11 in Linux Mint

Downloaded and installed FFS 11.11 for Linux Mint, but the "About" shows 11.10 and the update notice 11.11 is still displayed. What am I doing wrong?

What if you uninstall 11.10 and install 11.11 'again'

I wonder if 11.10 is installed in a weird location. Can you run it and check your process manager for the location of the executable?

The software is installed in /opt

Fixed as follows. Uninstall didn't work, so I deleted all references to it in the home directory, and deleted the /opt/FreeFileSync folder. Also, deleted FFS entries in the Menu/Accessories.

Reinstalled the 11.11 .run file which didn't create desktop.menu entries. So, I created a menu entry to "/opt/FreeFileSync/FreeFileSync", and now 11.11 works from the menu or the panel.

P.S: it's Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.1

Nice that you figured it out, weird though. I guess manually blasting a programs data isn't just a Windows thing!
