In SOURCE I have a folder X.
Folder X doesn't exist in DESTINATION.
I use two-way synchronisation (V11.12).
I do COMPARE. => OK
I do SYNCHRONIZE. => Folder X is created in destination but with name ALCUIQ<tilde>1.
After a second comparison, destination wants to rename source folder.
I have tested this with multiple folders and I a can't find an explanation for this behaviour.
Thank you for having taken the time to read this item.

What are you syncing from and to?
Pictures would be helpful, if possible

Sync is between location on my NAS and my hard disk (Linux).
I added a folder on my hard disk.
I just tried to reproduce by deleting the folder on both location. I did a compare. Then, I copied the folder back onto my hard disk and relaunched the synchronisation. Now, the folder was correctly created on the NAS.
I can't reproduce the error.
I have learnt that keeping a close eye on what the application intends to do is absolutely necessary.
I would have loved to know what caused this glitch. Also, what does ALCUIQ1 refer to. It didn't seem something random or related to my specific contents.
I don't know how I can close this topic.

I'm guessing that folder had a special character in it somehow, rather than a regular one
