While FFS is scanning the disc it would be nice to export the files on the disc, perhaps CSV format:
Updated|New|Deleted|Ignored, path, filename plus anything else useful
This data could then be used to generate a catalogue of files on the system, which would be updated everytime a backup is performed.

This can already be done.
If you want to catalogue a specific folder (and its subfolders)
* Perform a Compare between the folder (incl subfolders) you would like to have catalogued as your left base location, and an arbitrary empty folder as your right base location.
* Select the preferred view mid below the Compare results (likely all Categories)
* Goto FFS / Tools / Export File list
* If you like, you can use the Include and/or Exclude Filter to only include the specified files and folders in the Compare, and/or Exclude specific files and/or folders from the Compare.
* Obviously, you should not run an actual sync now
If you want to catalogue a left-right set of folders (and their subfolders) subject to a configured FFS sync
* Perform a the standard Compare between the left- and right base locations of your sync.
* Before running the actual sync, select the preferred view mid below the Compare results (likely all Categories)
* Goto FFS / Tools / Export File list
* If you like, you can use the Include and/or Exclude Filter to only include the specified files and folders in the Compare, and/or Exclude specific files and/or folders from the Compare.
* Run the actual sync (if so desired)
