Hello,
i work with Windows 10, FFS Version 11.13 and a brandnew WD My Cloud Home.
In the windows Explorer i can see the WD MY Cloud Home as Z: (... My Cloud Home (Z:)) and can work with it.
But this drive is not displayed in FFS.
So far it has not been possible to establish a working connection from FFS to the WD.

What is the reason for that ?
Who can help me ?

If your WD device is mapped as a drive letter, FFS will see it. Go to:
Browse->This PC->Network locations

Did you try the drag & drop option, dragging the Z:\ drive (or one of its subfolders) from Windows Explorer to the FreeFileSync left or right base-location?
Or select and copy the name in the address bar of Windows Explorer and paste it into the FreeFileSync left or right base-location field?
Or simply type Z:\ or Z:\[foldername] or Z:\[foldername]\[subfoldername] in the FreeFileSync left or right base-location field?

Hello,
drag and drop doesn't work.
If i copy the name from the address bar of Windows Explorer and paste it into a FreeFileSync field, the following error message appears:
'Cannot find the following folders:
Z:\WD_Temp
___________________________________________
Cannot read file attributes of "Z:\".
ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND: The system can not find the path specified. [GetFileAttributes]'

Are you running FFS "as administrator"?

Mapped drive letters run under a user context (eh, not really saying that correctly, but...).
And that could also be the reason you can't drag&drop.

So it is, so far I have been running FFS as an adminsitartor.
If I start the program as a user, everything works and I can access Z:.
Thank you !!!
