NEVER MIND. THE BRAND NEW EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE FAILED!!!!!! Sorry to have bothered you.
PC running Windows7
I just updated and am trying to backup my Calibre libraries to a new external hard drive. I had no problem with the first very large library. All went smoothly.
I have asked FFS to mirror the named folders. That is all. I got an error msg saying that FFS cannot copy file. Retry's failed so after the sync was completed, I opted for a compare/sync process. Again there were errors. At the end of that run, I tried, yet again, and this time got a warning that there were significant differences in the two libraries. When I view them in Windows Explorer, both have the same # of folders and of those in view, all appeared to be identical.
I have checked the libraries in Calibre and there are no errors.
I never had problems before updating. What is going wrong?
HELP! FFS won't copy files! Just updated FFS.

Well, for what its worth, this is an example of the error. Please not the the problem is failure of the brand new external hard drive (Seagate). Windows cannot repair it.
