No files to sync

My program is not detecting missing files any more. One example is 3485 files to 3700. I have checked for hidden files none there. This happens every folder. I have reinstalled program and am using 11.14. If it missed just a few files I would not be happy but I could live with that. My files are all images. The discrepancy is usually in the hundreds. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Do you know which/what files seem to be missing?
Likely, these are the files excluded form the sync via the FFS Exclude Filter (F7).
The files that are there by default need to be exclude (like e.g. your recycle bin) or do not make sense to be synced (like desktop.ini and thumbnails files).

Run a compare and post a screenshot of the FFS window

Sorry for the late responce. My print screen will not work. By the time I get the snipping tool in place the phrase "no files to sync" shows up and disappears. The screen shots are of the FFS and my file handler. I took several images out of the folder on the n: drive. The other shot shows the comparison between the d drive which has not been changed to the folder in the n drive where i moved some files for the test. Before the test both folders were synced. These are BUs of image files. The compare function on the file handler had it right showing the files i moved for test.

So "test sunday 2" is the FFS window after running a compare?
What are you filter settings?

I have no filters on either. All files are either jpg, psd, dng and tiff. I checked for hidden files, found none.

As a test...

File | New
Add your two directories; D:... & N:...
- make no other changes
Run a Compare
(do not sync or do anything further)

Do expected results turn up for the comparison?

The compare worked. I did as you suggested: File|new rather than just changing at the browse button. Since the FFS worked when first installed and then stopped with out any changes on my part. Lets see if it holds up. Thanks to everyone who helped
