Hello everyone,

I have a concern about what I wanted to get rid of here.
I use 2 NAS with an armbian 21.08.3 Focal (i.e. based on Ubuntu) with the Linux kernel 5.10.63-rockchip64.
1 NAS is right there with me and the 2nd I use externally (for an efficient backup) and I would like to keep both in sync via FreeFileSync, because in my opinion this is the best solution that the market apparently currently offers.

The built-in processor is an ARMv8-A 64-bit.

I did find the entry where there is a Git solution for a Raspberry PI with an ARMv7 processor, but you have to manipulate a lot in the source data, which actually doesn't correspond to my intentions at all.

So I wanted to ask (in the hope that one of the people who mainly look after the program also reads it) whether it would be possible to provide a version for ARM Linux on the homepage, where it is about as easy has as with the current Linux release.

It doesn't have to be something where you only have to run a .bin, it can also be a standard routine in which you just download, do "./configure", "make" and then do a "sudo make install" need. Or anything else, as long as you don't have to tinker with the source code.

I could also well imagine that the changes for an ARM Linux will also work with all other ARM Linux distributions, regardless of whether v7 or v8 and whether based on Ubuntu or Debian.

I hope something is feasible, because at the moment I am synchronizing with a third Linux machine with a "normal" processor, which slows down the speed considerably and is gradually becoming a bit annoying.

Thank you in advance for reading.

Kind regards
