Hello all
I have purchased Macrium Reflect 8. And now I can't do a full sync because Macrium protects its backups from access. How to solve this without disabling the protection of Macrium?
With the request for support and best regards,
wisch

You can't. You have to disable Image Guardian or use Robocopy.

I don't know how Macrium protects its backups, but if it does so by means of file locking, you may try to use Volume Shadow Copy.
Make sure to read the Notes.

+1 for Volume Shadow Copy and also you can try Carbonite or Gs Richcopy360 , both have powerfull options to copy locked and opened files

I have the solution:
I will disable Macrium Image Guardian before each sync, and then re-enable it.
I can manage with that.

Another option that may work better is to have a seperate disk for those macrium backups. It also makes it easier to restore a backup if the main drive dies for any reason (I've had that happen) forcing an emergency replacement.
