"Select left and right folders" drop-down menu

Is there a way to clean-up/edit the items in the "Select left and right folders drop-down menu"? Mine is quit cluttered.

Place your mouse over to highlight the item you want to delete, then press the "Delete" key on the keyboard (not the backspace key).
