sync.ffs_lock files

My computer crashed and I can see some files "sync.ffs_lock" left behind on my hard disk
Should I leave those files behind or delete them so that FreeFileSync works correctly to sync files the nex time it will start?

Although, I think Zenju added detection for stale lock files at some point.
