Freefilesync v11.16 locks

After running a synchronize, the program locks up. I've tried un-installing and re-installing it and closing my AV program. Nothing works. It stops at the same spot every time. (see Attachment)

Are all your directory pairs available, accessible?
What type of sync are you performing?
If you start a New sync, & only add, say the, D:\My Computer Programs, pair, will that successfully scan through all of those files?

I tried your suggestion and traced the problem to two file types, .mds & .mdf. If either of these two file types are in any folder that I'm synchronizing, it will fail.
As a temporary fix, I've added a filter to exclude these two types.
