Is it possible to add RealTimeSync as service in Windows Server 2008
(standard) 64 bit? As per Run Real time Sync help it can be done on Windows
server 2003.

I would just try out and see. If it works for 2003, it should also work for
2008.

Hi Zenju , Since MS had change the resource kit in 2008 I have to add it in a
different way. Even though I add it according to new method it is giving an
error something like "not a avalid win 32 application" (I uses 64 bit
freefilesync on 64 bit windows. Please look at it.
Anyway I simply loving your FreeFileSync project..Thanks...

Did you specify the target executable correctly and put it into quotes?

yes Zenju,
I used sc.exe Windows to create this service. If you can provide us actual
steps to create this service in Windows server 2008 in your help file, please
consider it...

Are you using v3.17?
Here FreeFileSync.exe is just a 32-bit launcher that redirects to the actual
64-bit executable \bin\FreeFileSync_x64.exe. This is probably the issue.

You needn't use an old version. Just specify the x64 executable directly:
\bin\FreeFileSync_x64.exe
