How to change the log directory

Hi, Freefilesync is very slow on startup in my ubuntu mate.
It keeps telling me the following on startup (username is degourna)

WARNING: using XIM input method is unsupported and may result in problems with input handling and flickering. Consider unsetting GTK_IM_MODULE or setting to "ibus".
Impossible to create directory "/home/degourna".
EACCES: Permission non granted [mkdir]

Moreover I notice that in the options menu, it wants to log the files in
/home/degourna/.config/FreefileSync/logs

but I have no /home/ directory, instead it is a /home-local/ (it is a custom installation from my job and I can't do anything about it)

Is it possible to change the log directory from /home/degourna/.config/FreefileSync/logs to
/home-local/degourna/.config/FreefileSync/logs ??

There are two places where log location is (can be) specified.

Tools | Options -> Default log path:
(I assume that default is simply a subdirectory to FFS's installation directory.)

After that, you can specify a different log location in:
Synchronization Settings (F8) -> Override default log path:


(I also take it that you can change the latter, but not the former [except by changing where FFS is installed].)

I did not know it existed; At least I can keep the logs. Sadly it is very slow at startup (must be checking the directory)
