Hi all,

Sorry if this has been asked before - I suspect it has, but I don't quite know
the correct terms to be looking for.

I've successfully set up Free File Sync to run a batch job on my personal
folders whenever my computer is idle via Windows Task Scheduler - now I want
to set up another task so that I can sync my work folders whenever my network
drive from work is connected. I don't always have the work network drive
connected because you need to have a VPN running to do so.

In short, Is it possible to run a FreeFileSync batch job whenever my computer
connects successfully to the networked drive using Windows Task Scheduler?

Many thanks for any suggestions!

It's probably possible, but I suggest looking up documentation of task
scheduler. However I propose a simpler approach: Have a look at RealtimeSync:
It will start synchronization each time a drive becomes available or files on
the drive change. If you only want the former, just set up some very large
"idle time".

! I'd looked for a real time sync type option before, but as I couldn't see it
in the sync option menus I assumed it must only be able to operate to schedule
only.Thanks for your help!
