Cannot create New sync task

Hi there,

Thanks for making such a wonderful backup software, i've been looking for it for awhile, it is really amazing. I will support this progeam by donating through paypal shortly, have to recover my paypal password before doing that.

I cannot add new sync task anymore. I have been using this software for about 6 months, updated to version 11.17 + 64 bit. Today, I re-organized my folers so that I have to recreate my FreeFileSync task, but after clicking the New button in FreeFileSync software, nothing happened, there is no dialog popup for me to select the folder I would like to sync, just simply nothing.

I have tried following jobs to rectify the issue but no luck
- Uninstalled and install FreeFileSync 11.17 + 64 bit
- Down grade to FreeFileSync 11.14 + 64 bit
- Reboot my computer

My computer details:
- OS Windows 10, version 21H1 (OS Built 19043,1526)
- 8 GB RAM

I love this software, anyway to get it works?

FFS doesn't have any pop up when you click "new". It just resets the settings to default and clears the locations.

If you click "new" under Configuration, the only thing that should happen is that the left and right sync location(s) of any previously selected sync are cleared (including previous Compare results, if any).
There will be no pop-up or the like.
You can then define the left and right sync location(s) of your new sync by drag&drop of the respective folders, by selecting one from the available drop-down list per left or right location field, via the Browse button behind the respective location fields, or by simply manually typing the location.

Hm, but there should be *some* feedback. FFS 11.18 will disable the button when pressed once.

It seems the present feedback is "just" the clearing of the left and right base location(s).
Then clicking "New" again, does not (visibly) do anything, but likely said fields are cleared again.
