New to FFS. Running Win 10 X64. Making simple backups of "my documents" of a work disk to an external disk once/twice a week. Trying Mirror variant. Like to use "Detect Moved Files" but note that when I don't allow right-side files to be deleted the checkbox is greyed out.
Can you please explain that reasoning. Doesn't my backup want to retain files even when deleted on left-side? Would the deleted files go into the versioning folder?
Thanks,
Steve

Because if you rename/update a file, FFS doesn't necessarily know that you don't want it to be a new file. The update sync prevents deletions, but detecting moved files requires files be removed, deleted in a way, from their current location. This is my interpretation
