I installed FreeFileSync today on my M1 Mac. I read this page:

https://freefilesync.org/manual.php?topic=expert-settings

I used Finder to search for GlobalSettings.xml and it cannot find it. I want to use VerifyCopiedFiles. Can someone help me? Thank you.

By the way, why isn't this option in the GUI? It seems like it is something that I should be able to just put a check mark on to get the verify function. Editing a hidden file that I cannot even find seems to be very kludgy. Anyway, that is my opinion. :-)

Here is a screenshot of ~/Library/Application Support and, as you can see, there is no FreeFileSync folder.

Thank you for the information. I found it and edited the GlobalSettings.xml file.
