Hi,
Unfortunately I have a legacy Windows 10 HOME 32-bit instance. I've downloaded the local and the portable version and have both installed. Installation of the local version went through without any warnings, but when I try to run the executable a window pops up (the same when I try to launch the 32-bit coming with the portable version):
Installation files are corrupted. Please reinstall FreeFileSync
Cannot get process information.
Error code 0x8004100e [IWbemServices::ConnectServer]
Any ideas?
Thanks!

"Fixed" means FFS will ignore the error. But there still seems to be some kind of data corruption with regards to Windows WMI services on the system.

Understood, I am investigating, but apart from this the system is showing no other symptoms.
