2 way sync not working properly

I have 2 laptops I want to keep synced, however I only travel with one so I set them up to both sync against google drive.

Laptop A <-> Google <-> Laptop B, this seems to work well for additions but for deletions what is happening is that A deletes, it propagates to google but B thinks it's newer so it updates google which then propagates to A and presto I am back to square one.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Make sure you are using two-way on both laptops when syncing to Google Drive

Thank you and they were. So sadly not that simple.

After deleting a file from A and then that also being deleted from Google, run just a compare on B and share the compare window.
