Sync entire folder not individual files

Hello I am a new user to FreeFileSync and this may be a dumb question.

Is there a method to overwrite an entire folder that has been modified instead of the individual files within?

I want to sync a specific folder on two devices. When the folder is newer I want the entire folder copied over not just the individual files that are newer.

I am trying to sync game save files between two devices and copying only the updated files is not working correctly. I am trying to perform a two-way sync and when I run a compare it will show me the files in the folder that have been updated and will sync them without issue. But something important is not being copied because I will open the game on the second device and it will still show the old save file.

If I manually copy the entire save folder over instead of just the updated contents the save functions fine.

Is there a method to force the software to compare the directory modified date and copy the entire folder regardless of which individual files have changed?

If not I suppose I could ditch the software and just manually copy the files each direction but that introduces the chance of me not paying attention and copying the folder in the wrong direction losing my progress.
