FreeFileSync cannot find some of my folders

I have used FreeFileSync (Donation Edition) several times in the past successfully. However, I am now trying to backup my folders again and find that some of my folders on my computer are no longer seen by FreeFileSync. How can I ensure that all folders specified are backed up to my external hard drive?

You have either excluded them in the filters or they are no longer a sub-directory of your root locations

Thanks. I am no expert and have never used filters in FFS. I clicked on 'Filters' and there is nothing 'excluded' but there is nothing in the 'include' box either. Do I have to insert all the sub-folders and files which are on my D: (files) drive on my computer?
When I click D:\Documents, I can see all the sub-folders but some of them appear to be empty, yet on my computer in D:\Documents they are all present. I assume that FFS needs some further input in order to see them.

No, click the "Default" button at the bottom of the filter section

Thank you. I have done that now.
When I did a backup a few minutes ago (without your suggestion), everything copied except some TurboCAD documents in 'Pictures', so I had to copy them across individually. Next time I do a backup, hopefully they will copy across automatically.
Thanks. I appreciate your help.
