My connection to freefilesync.org blocked

Hi, I am having a problem with the connection to freefilesync.org which means that the alert emails aren't being sent and the lookup of updates fails. This is at one office site and my home but not at my other office site. At home, if I use a VPN to connect from a different gateway it works fine. This appears to me to point to your hosting blocking connections from my ISP. My ISP at both the failing sites is KCOM, and the connection at the working site is BT. Is this something we can fix? Using a VPN or changing my ISP on my failing site is not an option.

If there's an issue while sending the email, you'll see an error message in the FreeFileSync log. Otherwise the email is probably stuck in the recipients spam folder (or silently discarded as some providers do: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=32722240)

Thanks for this but the issue is with the connection to freefilesync.org or its IP address. If I try to go to your website in a browser on one of the PCs at the faulty sites it times out. When a batch job sends the email alert it comes up with ERROR_INTERNET_TIMEOUT: The operation timed out [HttpSendRequest]. Same when checking for Program Updates. I can't ping either Freefilesync.org or its IP address.

freefilesync.org is behind Cloudflare CDN, and there is no blocking from this side. If there were you'd see JS challenges or HTTP response codes, but not a time out. But perhaps your ISP doesn't like cloudflare?

OK. Thank you. It's worked perfectly for years. WE've not changed anything at this end. I'll see if I can get anywhere with my ISP.

Had a similar issue (elsewhere). Turned out to be my ISP.
(Cleared up, on its own, a number of days after I inquired about it.)
