We recently updated our version from 11.23 to the new release 11.25. We have been using Task Scheduler for quite some time now with no issues until we updated to the new release 11.25. After updating to 11.25 the Task Scheduler quit working with the application. The Task Scheduler says it runs, but FreeFilesSync does nothing. We rolled back to 11.23 and the Task Schedule started working as normal.

Please advise when this issue is resolved so we can update the FreeFileSync application to the latest version.

This application has been extremely stable for us until the update 11.25.

Our operating system is Windows 10.

Thank you.

Explain your task, & its settings in Task Scheduler?
Is there a log generated on the FFS end?

We have this configured exactly per your documentation and tutorial and works perfectly with 11.23.

There is no log being generated on the FSS end.

The sync works fine when in the FSS application using the UI, but does not seem to work when trying to fire this sync with Task Scheduler. The Task Scheduler says it ran with no errors, but FSS does not run or write any logs. Is it possible there is a command line execution issue? Our IT manager said this may be the issue. How can I run the sync using the command line to see if it works?

Just checked on a Windows pc where I updated FFS from 11.23 to 11.25 recently. Task Scheduler tells FFS to mirror a local folder to an sftp clouddrive. There's a log too right in the box FFS displays when its script is running. Files get mirrored just fine. Launching FFS from a Windows command prompt works too, if that's what you're talking about.

freefilesync.exe "<your path to ffs_batch scripts>\your ffs batch script.ffs_batch"
