Filter specification

Good evening.
How can I specify the "Icon?" (where the question mark IS a question mark)?
Basically how can I specify special characters in the filter option as characters?

I am on Mac Mojave.

I have no way to test (I'm on Windows), but (& I don't know if it would work) see if a double or triple backslash works?

So something like: test\\?file or test\\\?file
