Getting horrible performance when attempting to sync to Western Digital cloud/network drive (on my loccal network). Both the drive and computer are connected by ethernet cable.
At the time I write this FFS has been trying to sync a <3MB jpeg file from the cloud drive to a local disk for over 15 minuts. Just copying files with Windows Explorer is slow, but this is ridiculous. Anyone else have experience with Western Digital network drives?

Also, while FFS is syncing, Explorer just about dies (takes minutes just to bring up a file save dialog or delete a file and other similar performance issues).

Sounds like the drive is failing. Check the SMART data on it or take it to someone who can

You will need to set up remote access to the NAS
