Cannot Open Batch Job File in MacOS Monterey

Forgive me but I’m new to this…I created a batch job file and saved it to my MacOS Monterey desktop. Both FFS and the MacOS are fully updated. When I double click on the file, my iMac screen goes black for a few seconds, and nothing happens…
