Does version 11.28 have issues with detecting CRC errors...
Cannot copy file
"\\XIAOMI\Pictures\Olympus OMD EM-5 MkII\2015-04-24\P4240193-2.ORF" to
"C:\Users\Alex\Pictures\Olympus OMD EM-5 MkII\2015-04-24\P4240193-2~c4ea.ffs_tmp".
ERROR_CRC: Data error (cyclic redundancy check). [CopyFileEx]
I am using filesync over Wi-Fi between laptops. Is this a problem? Laptops do not have ethernet. I copied the file manually with Win 11 share and it opened fine in photoshop. Any Suggestions?

Looks like a failing drive or bad connection to a drive to me

Though the file opens in photoshop, have you verified that the files are in fact identical (via hash or content compare)?I copied the file manually with Win 11 share and it opened fine in photoshop.

It seems that this file (and 24 other files) were somehow corrupted, I was able to recover them with a backup

Regardless of the ability to recover them, that certainly bears investigation.It seems that this file (and 24 other files) were somehow corrupted
