RTS not working across linux share

I have RTS running a Two Way Sync on a Windows machine. Tried both mirror and Two Way.

One folder is local on the windows machine, syncing to a mapped drive shared on a linux machine.

The goal is to have any updates on the linux share immediately backed up to the windows machine.

When I update files on the linux machine from the linux machine, RTS isn't detecting them.

When I update the linux files FROM the windows machine, they're immediately detected.

Is there a limitation with network shares, or am I something I'm missing?

I got it with 15-second intervals on Task Scheduler. Now just wondering if it's a limitation of RTS.

Shouldn't be... What was the idle time before changing to 15 seconds?

I had it down to 2 seconds in RTS.

Interesting... I would have guess it was higher than 15, and maybe something was interacting with it before the idle time would be reached. I haven't heard of such limitations in FFS. Not sure what would cause that, but at least it is working I suppose. Is it feasible to lower the idle time to see when it cuts off again?

Shrug, idk. I'd edit a file with gedit on the linux machine and Save. RTS wouldn't catch it, no matter how long I waited.

If I edited that same file (or any) in notepad in Windows, and saved it, RTS would immediately catch it.

It's no big deal. I'm using Task Scheduler and it's working fine.
