Thank you for your help and suggestions. I have learned how to include recent files only and followed you advice for establishing separate 'folders' on the 'right.' Seems to be working well. regards, Jack

Again, thank you. I am quite sure you are correct, but as I slowly work my way through the processes, I do not want to make a mistake that would make repeating the full back-up, so I chose this route. My next task is learning the exclude filter. Regards.

Thank you. I suspect you are correct, but wonder where my reasoning went astray: When I did my initial "Mirror" of Computer C:\, the program copied the 'folders' exactly. I assumed that by choosing the 8 different folders, the program would do the same and create the 'folders' for me. I gather that ...

Please excuse my ignorance; it is clear that I do not understand the processes of this program.
