Additional info (shouldnt be important) - the files did exist on the computer being copied to but a folder higher. To clarify my set up was

comp1
path/folderA/file1
path/folderA/file2

comp2
path/folderA/folderB/file1NEW
path/folderA/folderB/file2NEW

When using FFS to sync to try to sync computer2 ...

I created new files and freeFileSync is trying to delete them whenever I sync. I am syncing with
* FreeFileSync 6.9 (also occured in FFS 6.4)
* <-- Two way -->
* File time and size (not file content)
* excluding symbolic links

The computer that should have the files copied to it have never had ...
