I would like to make an update. I figured out the reason of this problem. It is lack of standards between operating systems regarding file name encoding. This folder was synced between Windows, Mac and Linux machines. They treat file names differently and this apparantly causes such confusing ...

Thanks for your help. It works and actually removes all identical files from the different file list.

Update 3: I checked the properties of the folder in external drive in Linux. It showed that the total size of the contents of the directory is 19.1GB (92.927 items).
Update 2: chkdsk found no problems in any of the disks.

FFS is the best sync tool around IMHO. Thank you for this software.
