Is there a way to ignore capitalization in file extensions?

My one and only sync job always results in 47 files being hightlighted as conflicts. The only problem is that in one folder the file extension is all caps; in the other the extensions are all lower case. I can just continue to ignore this but it would be neater if it could be fixed.

On my last synchronization since upgrading to 8.4 several pages of files will not sync because one source has a lower case file extension; the other source has upper case. Otherwise, as far as I an tell, the files are identical. Is there a way the the file extension being upper or lower does not ...
