Never mind. I just discovered the new auto-updater, which is GREAT! I also discovered that the program already knows my download link, but I find it through the ABOUT dialog instead of the update process. Sorry for my slow brain today.

I always find myself searching through my various email clients, folders, etc. to relocate my donation link when FFS tells me a new version is available. I'm thinking it would be a wonderful option to allow us to enter our specific donation 'code' (from the end of the our donation link) or some such ...

Thanks, I did not realize that the download link I received after my donation would download new versions over time. I thought that the program "knew" of my donation and would take me to the correct download page when it reported a new version. This works pretty much the exact opposite of everything ...

I donated and downloaded the ad-free version 8.1. When it tells me there is a new version available, it always brings me to the ads-included download. Is a donation required for every update in order to remain ad-free?
