Installed just fine; I just ran "compare", looked OK. Shortcut on Taskbar remained valid, now showing vs. 9. Almost too easy!

When opening free FFS 7.8, auto check for update, get msg "Cannot find current FreeFileSync version number online. Do you want to check manually?"

Stupid question - by downloading & installing vs. 9.0, how do I insure all my settings, filters, etc. are retained? I assume this is like a new ...
