Process explorer did not show anything, I use Nirsoft OpenedFilesView which is much easier to use, with sort by file path. There are only "system" as processes opening "files" in the drive. It looks like some NTFS-related, and sometimes I found system process SearchIndexer.
So it is very good that ...

Resources not freed after syncing with version 10.15
Hello,
Just to mention a minor problem with new version 10.15.
After syncing is completed, Free Filesync (FFS) still apparently keeps some resources opened (file handles ?), while previous versions did not. I observe this since I use Veracypt to mount a container as a drive, then sync files to ...

64-bit version for FreeFileSync?
Hello,
Is there a 64-bit version of FreeFileSync? I have a 64-bit Windows PE without support for WOW64. Currently the freefilesync.exe version 9.7 got "Access denied" at execution, like other 32-bit EXE.

[Dropped] Re: Command line options for offline activation
OK, after quick investigation, I dropped my request.
Effectively the activation is done only once, the magic apparently relies on install.dat file that is updated after activation. But in WinPE environment, Portable FFS run in RAM disk packaged as other applications inside a WIM file, so the update ...

Re: Command line options for offline activation
OK, I will verify this, because I had to do offline activation several times, usually after shutdown a WinPE session then start another.

Re: Command line options for offline activation
The advantage is convenience and speed. FreeFileSync is one of my preferred tool used in WinPE for rescue environment (for example to restore files and folders). I put my tools categorized and started with Pstart launcher ( http://www.pegtop.net/start/) . With the command line option, I can feed the ...

Command line options for offline activation
Hello,
Is it possible to have a command line options to load product key (donation version) from a text file for offline activation, instead of manually pasting the product key? Example of use is to run FreeFileSync under WinPE environment where no Internet access is available.
Thank you.

Re: Memory error with FTPS and big file (40 GB)
Hello,
My scenario is to periodically (usually every 15 days or once a month) make a backup of some big files which come from Veracrypt container. I have optical fiber at 100Mb/s so 40GB take only more than 1 hour to upload. I expect and would like FreeFileSync behaves like other FTP clients ...

Memory error with FTPS and big file (40 GB)
Hello,
I try to sync with FTPS (FTP + explicit SSL/TLS) with a big file (> 40 GB). FreeFileSync then failed after about 4% (without any visible network transfer) with memory error popup message. "Memory allocation failed: 6619442287 bytes." Ignore/Cancel buttons.
