Many thanks, I had checked the filters in each pairing, and I had thought I had checked the filters in the menu Actions | Sync Settings. However clearly I had not checked the most obvious one behind the main filter icon!

I just upgraded to V10.1 having been using FFS on several machine for several years (and also paid a donation!).
I am now regretting the upgrade because FFS is missing new files added on either side of the comparison. Worked fine with my v. old version (sorry I can't remember what I had before ...
