it's possible when you run RealTimeSync, which comes with FreeFileSync.
i'd like to do the same with an external drive. however my problem is, that RealTimeSync keeps monitoring for changes and keeps backing-up instead of doing the first backup and then quitting.

thanks for the program, it seems to work very well.
i have RealTimeSync running from my autostart folder as desribed in the helpfile. when i connect the drive with the ffs_batch-file ffs starts up and syncs (mirrors) as it should. that would suffice for me, i have the backup that i need.
