Re: Question about "Last X Days" filter
Not be a problem in that it will ignore the 5-year-old or older files & folders if I enter the number of days in the filter? Thanks

Re: Question about "Last X Days" filter
Thanks, so if I'm doing an "Update" sync and I want to exclude files, folders on the source, or left side, that are over 5 years old... can this be done? Thanks

Question about "Last X Days" filter
I'd like for my sync to ignore any files or folders that have a modify or creation date older than 5 years. I tried entering 1,825 days in the filter but they are still included. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Re: Update sync fails because folder already exists on destination
So I'm sure that's the case. By removing the destination folder it seems to have created the folder and sync'd the contents. Thanks

Re: Update sync fails because folder already exists on destination
I don't have the exact error message other than it was basically saying it couldn't sync the folder contents because it said the folder already existed on the destination. Once I removed the folder, which had the exact same name as the source, the update sync worked.

Update sync fails because folder already exists on destination
I set up a pair to "update" sync and ran into this issue. On the left side I selected the folder I wanted to update sync. On the right side I selected the path to the destination folder named exactly the same as the source. Sync failed because "the folder already exists". Why didn't FFS just use ...

Re: Question regarding sync setup and same destination for two different sources
Should I use a different sync method rather than Mirror? I'm not familiar with how to add a symbolic link as you suggest. So much to learn... :-)

Re: Question regarding permissions of source folder
Thanks for the reply... perhaps I didn't explain my issue clearly, sorry. I'm asking to find out if FreeFileSync can use a second set of credentials to access certain folders on the server I'm syncing from? All of my pairs are syncing as expected except for two. The local admin account on the server ...

Question regarding sync setup and same destination for two different sources
I have two different sources that need to sync to the same destination. What I have found so far when using Mirror sync is that whichever pair syncs last is what that destination looks like.
Example, using the two pairs below, Pair 1 syncs and copies everything under Folder_A to the destination ...

Will FreeFileSync/RealTimeSync run as a service?
I have several sync jobs set up and would like to know if the sync will run with no user logged into the server. Or how about if all sync jobs were setup with user A logged in and then user A logs out and user B logs in, will the sync still happen?
Thanks
Thanks
