Thanks for pointing out the filter function. I found that adding a single “*PREVIEWS* statement as a filter conveniently excluded each Lightroom previews db associated with each catalogue. No need to specify each previews file.

It’s taking a long time to back these up, and Lightroom can rebuild them if the cached previews aren’t present during a Lightroom ...

Deleting Old Source Files
I’m not clear about how to delete outdated files (in this case, catalogues I no longer need to back up from the earlier version of Lightroom). V10 of Lightroom changed its format, so it creates a new catalogue with “V10” in its name.
