Constructive feedback:
I want to suggest adding this to the Tools -> Options panel.
Because this is not really an "expert" setting, but rather a setting absolutely relevant to almost all users!

sync-config file (*.ffs_gui) with an editor and set XML node
"VerifyCopiedFiles" to true. This adds an unbuffered binary comparison after a

Feature request: Please add an option to set the comparison like this:

If both files have same timestamp and size, regard them as equal
Else compare them by content.

This would be very useful for cases where file timestamps have changed but not their content.
This can happen eg. when applying ...
