Bear in mind not everyone's a techie. How you deduce a javascript issue isn't a intuitive matter. But if you can't be bothered explaining - so be it.

What javascript challenge are you referring to?

Hmm, interesting. I turned-off my VPN connection and the problem goes away.
I reconnected my VPN and FFS is still working properly.

I tried it. It opens the window shown in screenshot #1

It doesn't open the "Check for program updates" window but html is still appearing on the menubar.

Windows 10 - up-to-date

Tried again @ 10:23utc from 62.210.38.83 - same thing happened.

When I start FFS I get this window appearing -


Then, when I close the window, FFS shows this -


I don't want to risk running the sync with this problem.
