Re: Directory/folder availability check
can't think of any common reason that some data may not show up when it wasn't deleted somehow Ransomware. (Beside physically changing file contents), often will rename the file *.encrypt. Sure but that is not "data not showing up". That is a different, but valid, concern than what was pr...

Re: Synchronize files based on their creation date.
There isn't currently a way to define a sync order, other than manual babysitting. For example, only syncing a subset of directories first, then another set, then another, and on and on. Or, running a comparison to gather all changes and selecting what you want in the results to sync 'selectively'. ...

Based on Myce testing, we found that the consumer version of OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) does not appear to any modify files This is a very important distinction, as it seems the root issue is SharePoint and not OneDrive. https://github.com/29039/29039s-useful-stuff/blob/main/m365-sharepoint-onlin...

Re: Please make it possible to put sync.ffs_db files elsewhere
If you actually read through them, you'll see why it is the way it is and the proposed workaround from the developer so that you can solve your very niche issue. Other people have asked for this in the past multiple times, but they were always dismissed. Asking for it over and over hasn't worked so ...

Re: Compare by just file time
I do not have this issue with my OneDrive and Office files. I just confirmed with a docx that I saved locally, copied to OneDrive, and then compared the size and SHA-256 results. Files were identical With that said, it wouldn't make sense to add a feature to a sync program that makes the program not...

Re: Directory/folder availability check
Good concern to have, as FFS will absolutely copy corrupted data just as well as good data. If a monitored location can't be seen at all, RTS will never start a sync anyway, so no worry there. There is no concrete answer to your question, because as always, "it depends". Why would "no...

Re: Showing non-existed and deleted files
If they only show up when syncing with the SFTP location, they must already exist in the other locations you are syncing to. You can use CMD to find and delete these files. There is no risk, if they are in use, you won't be able to delete them. It's not a FFS bug, 100% guaranteed

Re: Showing non-existed and deleted files
Files with a Tilda at the beginning are temp files that didn't get deleted gracefully by the program using them. Your File Explorer isn't set to show these hidden files, but you can change it so you can see them. Just delete them though.

Seems like renaming those document packages is also changing stuff inside, no? If so, it is being modified and the mod time should probably change accordingly. On Windows, there is the option of copying over permissions, it's in the Tools->Options section, maybe give that a shot. It may require runn...

Re: Sync files after a defined date
Oh yes, I see! The only option I see currently is to run a comparison, right-click the header above the list of files, and use the 'select time span' option from there. That is obviously not a good long-term solution, as you have to compare all files first. Actually, I am unsure if a date selection ...

Run as admin or change permissions to that location
Log files don't usually write there though, are you sure you want that?

Re: Dot_
After running a comparison, try right-clicking one of the files and excluding from the context menu. This can provide some insight on the correct syntax as that is likely the issue.
